Mattias Stone is an AI-assisted artist persona and historical storytelling music project created by Swedish songwriter Mattias Olsson.

The songs begin with real events, forgotten voices, and moments when human choices carried a heavy price. Drawing on Scottish, Irish, and Swedish history, the project explores loyalty, loss, courage, betrayal, and survival. Its stories move from battlefields and burning glens to shipwrecks and distant shores, following the people caught within those events and the decisions that shaped their lives.

Mattias Olsson writes and develops the concepts, lyrics, and creative direction behind the project. Modern production tools, including AI, form part of that process, supporting the musical expression of the stories he chooses to tell.

History provides the starting point, with each song shaped around a human story. At the heart of Mattias Stone are people, the choices they faced, and what those choices left behind.
